NFC South Notes: Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers, Saints

Buccaneers

• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially ruled out LB Jack Cichy (elbow) and WR Breshad Perriman (hamstring) for Week 5 and list T Demar Dotson (calf) as questionable.

Falcons

Falcons WR Julio Jones believes they’ll be fine moving forward if they can get everyone to simply focus on doing their job. 

“Everybody have fun but just be on your details,” Jones said, via AtlantaFalcons.com. “Go out here and cut it loose. We can’t get that right until everybody collectively does their job instead of worrying somebody else’s job. I have to take care of Julio and everybody just [has] to take care of themselves to go out there and play and be accountable. Once everyone is doing that together, we can go out there and play Falcon football.”

• Falcons HC Dan Quinn said that newly acquired S Johnathan Cyprien could be involved in some defensive packages. (Vaughn McClure)
• Quinn added that C Alex Mack will be able to suit up in Week 5. 
• The Atlanta Falcons officially ruled out RB Kenjon Barner (knee), P Matt Bosher (right groin), G Jamon Brown (concussion), and CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (groin) for Week 5 and list S Damontae Kazee (illness) as questionable. 

Panthers

• Panthers HC Ron Rivera said he’s optimistic that DE Brian Burns, DT Gerald McCoy, and S Eric Reid will play in Week 5, despite being listed as questionable. (Joe Person)
• The Carolina Panthers officially ruled out WR Chris Hogan (knee), CB Donte Jackson (groin), T Greg Little (concussion), TE Chris Manhertz (concussion), QB Cam Newton (foot), and G Trai Turner (ankle) for Week 5 and list LB Brian Burns (wrist), DT Gerald McCoy (knee), and S Eric Reid (ankle) as questionable.  

Saints

• The New Orleans Saints officially ruled out QB Drew Brees (right thumb) and DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) for Week 5.
