NFC South Notes: Falcons, Panthers, Saints

Falcons

Falcons DE Vic Beasley is facing an uncertain future in Atlanta. However, he isn’t stressing about what will happen after the season.

โ€œWhen that time comes, whatever happens, happens,” Beasley said, via ESPN.com. โ€œIโ€™m here to help this team win, and thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m trying to do through the rest of the regular season. As long as Iโ€™m here, Iโ€™m trying to help this team win ballgames.”

Beasley came up as a potential trade candidate at the deadline, but he says this isn’t something that motivated him.

โ€œNah, I just continued to work,” Beasley said. โ€œMy mindset donโ€™t change regardless. Iโ€™m not going to sit there and act like I didnโ€™t know about it. Everyone knows their circumstances and whatโ€™s at stake.”
