Cardinals veteran WR Larry Fitzgerald says heโ€™ll let the media know when/if he decides to retire from the NFL.

โ€œIf I decide to retire, Iโ€™ll let you guys know,โ€ Fitzgerald said Thursday, via the AzCardinals.com. โ€œMan, seriously. So, I donโ€™t understand why we keep asking these questions.

โ€œYou know me; Iโ€™ve been answering for the last three years. Nothingโ€™s going to change โ€ฆ Iโ€™m never going to tell you, โ€˜This is my last day. Iโ€™m excited. Honor me.โ€™ Those words would never come out of my mouth, ever.โ€

  • Cardinals GM Steve Keim said they plan to give Fitzgerald time after the season to decide whether heโ€™ll continue his NFL career: โ€œWe donโ€™t get into that with Larry at this point and time. Itโ€™s no different than the last couple of years. We will give him that grace period to sort of reflect and see how his body feels like a lot of the vets do. Those are the conversations that will come after the season.โ€ (AzCardinals.com)
  • The Arizona Cardinals officially list S Rudy Ford (ribs), DE Markus Golden (ankle), DT Rodney Gunter (foot), G Will Holden (shoulder), WR J.J. Nelson (illness, not injury related), CB Patrick Peterson (illness), and TE Ricky Seals-Jones (illness) as questionable for Week 16.
