NFL Draft Notes: Weekend

 

Here’s a running list of reports from the weekend regarding prospects visits, workouts and rumors:

  • The Texans drafting Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 overall pick is “no longer a certainty.”  (NFLTR)
  • Auburn RB Tre Mason is dealing with a “chronic scaphoid fracture” in his wrist, but it’s not expected to affect his draft stock. (Ian Rapoport)
  • Northern Colorado QB Seth Lobato talked with the Patriots during his Pro Day and worked out for the Dolphins. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Minnesota State DE Chris Schaudt is reportedly drawing interest from “several 3-4 teams as OLB.” (Aaron Wilson)

  • The Eagles are expected to come away from the draft with at least one receiver. (Zach Berman)
  • Villanova DT Antoine Lewis has interest from the Patriots, Giants and Bengals. (Aaron Wilson)

  • The Panthers are taking a last-minute visit to meet with Penn State W Allen Robinson. (NFLTR)
  • Northern Illinois S Jimmie Ward is considered to be worthy of  late first-round pick by a “number of teams.” (Tony Pauline)
  • Indiana WR Kofi Hughes has met with the Redskins, Bears, Colts and Bengals. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Fresno State CB L.J. Jones worked out for the Panthers. (Aaron Wilson)
  • New Mexico State WR Austin Franklin visited with the Giants. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Eastern Washington DE/OLB Anthony Larry worked out for the Patriots and Eagles and reportedly has interest from the PackersChargersSeahawksBrowns and Ravens. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Adams State K David Van Voris worked out for the Jets on Friday. (Aaron Wilson)
  • Nebraska WR Quincy Enunwa visited with the Raiders and Steelers. (Aaron Wilson)
