ESPN’s Adam Schefter brings us another report regarding a player getting the franchise tag. Schefter reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have franchised LB LaMarr Woodley.
The Steelers intend to keep working on longterm deal with Woodley but the franchise tag will at least given them some more time to workout deal.
Woodley made a meager $500,000 last season so the tag will provide him with a healthy raise.
