49ers

• The 49ers announced that veteran G Alex Boone passed his physical on Monday and has rejoined the team.

Bears

• Chris Conte is expected to be the Bears’ starting free safety opposite of Ryan Mundy as long as he’s cleared to play. (Michael C. Wright)

Broncos

Broncos GM John Elway told reporters on Monday that they are confident in moving forward with Brandon McManus as their kicker while Matt Prater is serving his suspension.

“I am now,” Elway said, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com. “He’s going to be our guy now. He got in here late last week, he’s got a tremendously strong leg and he’s got a lot of upside. I’ve got a lot of confidence once he gets working with the center and [holder Brandon] Colquitt, get used to that, he’ll be much better off. I think Brandon will be fine for us.”

Titans

• The Titans have rookie RB Bishop Sankey listed ahead of Dexter McCluster on their new depth chart. (Paul Kuharsky)
