49ers

• RT Anthony Davis is out for Week 1.
• G Alex Boone will be active for Sunday’s game.
• DT Ray McDonald will play against the Cowboys.

Buccaneers

• According to Brian McIntyre, the Buccaneers are paying LB Brandon Magee ($29,117 per week) and WR Solomon Patton ($7,500 per week) more than the normal practice squad salary.

Chiefs

• The Chiefs removed DB Damond Smith from injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Dolphins

• LB Philip Wheeler has been ruled out for Sunday’s game. (James Walker)

Panthers

• The Panthers moved TE D.C. Jefferson from the injured reserve list to the reserve/suspended list on Friday.
