Baker Mayfield

• Robert Klemko lists the likely landing spots for Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield as: 1) Dolphins, 2) Broncos, 3) Jets, 4) Browns and 5) Giants.
• Klemko says that the Dolphins would likely have to trade up to get Mayfield with the Colts being a team “motivated” to move out of No. 3 overall.
• According to Klemko, Mayfield will meet privately with the Browns and Jets.
• Mayfield earned praise from one NFL executive after interviewing well with their team on Friday:  “He gets it. Yep. He just gets it.” (Mike Jones)
• Herbie Teope reports that the Saints had a formal interview with Mayfield on Friday.

Saquon Barkley

• Penn State QB Saquon Barkley said he has interviewed with the Giants, Broncos, Jets, Colts, Bucs, 49ers, Browns, while also completing “a lot” of informal meetings as well. (James Palmer)

Sam Darnold

• USC QB Sam Darnold has had formal interviews with the Giants and Jets. (Art Stapleton)
• Darnold indicated that his interview with the Giants consisted of personal questions about “family, relationship-building stuff” and schematic work with HC Pat Shurmur and OC Mike Shula.

Draft

• Kansas edge defender Dorance Armstrong said that he has had “good talks” with the Chiefs at the NFL Combine. (BJ Kissel)
• The Chiefs also met with Fort Hays State DT Nathan Shepherd for a formal interview on Friday night. (Terez A. Paylor)
• N.C. State DE Bradley Chubb said that he’s had a “couple” informal interviews with the Colts and is scheduled to have a formal meeting with the team Saturday night. (Mike Chappell)
• Chubb also said that he had a formal interview with the Buccaneers and that it went “pretty well“: “Yeah, had (informal) interview. It went pretty well.” (Rick Stroud)
• Utah DE Kylie Fitts said that he has had “a lot of interactions” with the Saints at the Senior Bowl, which included a formal interview. (Herbie Teope)
• Washington DT Vita Vea indicated that he met with Raiders DL coach Mike Trgovac at the NFL Combine. (Vic Tafur)
• According to Nick Underhill, the Saints have met with “several of the top quarterbacks” at the NFL Combine.
• Alabama DL Da’Ron Payne said former college teammates Redskins DE Jonathan Allen and OLB Ryan Anderson are “pushing” Washington’s front office to draft him. (Chase Goodbread)
• According to Jeff Zrebeic, Evans also has a formal meeting scheduled for Saturday night with the Ravens, while the first-round prospect considers Ravens LB C.J. Mosley a mentor.
• Evans also met with the Raiders while at the NFL Combine. (Scott Bair)
