NFL Notes: Bengals, Browns, Eagles, Packers, & Texans

Bengals

• Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that Bengals TE Tyler Eifert will miss this week’s game against the Broncos, as the team doesn’t want to rush him back.
• However, Getlin adds that the Bengals could hold Eifert out until the playoffs.

Browns

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Browns worked out kicker Zach Hocker and Carea Spear.

Eagles

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Eagles worked out Freddie Bishop, Issca Blakeney, Jeff Fuller, Cameron Gordon, Colin Kelly, Eric Rogers, and Jordan Sullen.

Packers

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Packers worked out Will Johnson, Kasey Redfern, Sam Rodgers, Andy Wilder, and Rick Lovato (signed).

Texans

• Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports Texans QB Brian Hoyer is expected to practice on Wednesday, but has yet to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol.
• Wilson’s source did, however, say that Hoyer is feeling good.
