NFL Notes: Bengals, Dolphins, Panthers, & Ravens

Bengals

ESPN’s Coley Harvey takes a look at some free agent receivers that could make sense for the Bengals now that they’ve waived/injured WR James Wright.

According to Harvey, the best available options are: Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker, James Jones and Dane Sanzenbacher.

Of the four, Harvey thinks Wayne would likely be the best addition, as long as he’s willing to accept a complementary role.

Dolphins

• Adam Beasley reports that Dolphins LT Branden Albert will not begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Panthers

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Panthers worked out free agent WR Mike Davis this week.

Ravens

• Ravens waive/injured rookie WR Cam Worthy.
• Ravens signed WR Tom Nelson.
