NFL Notes: Brandon Bridge, Cardinals, Raiders, & Ravens

Brandon Bridge

  • South Alabama QB Brandon Bridge was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL. (Adam Caplan)

  • Kent Somers mentions that recently signed QB Phillip Sims is “more than camp arm” for Cardinals, as coaches have been impressed with his arm and ability to learn quickly.
  • Somers adds that Sims could end up competing for No. 3 quarterback job on the team’s depth chart.

  • Raiders signed seventh-round picks WR Andre Debose and OT Anthony Morris to four-year contracts.

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome said third-year ILB Arthur Brownneeds to find a way to get to the field.

Arthur Brown is another young man who, at this point in his career, needs to find a way to get on field,” Newson said, via the Baltimore Sun. “When you’ve got C.J. Mosley and Daryl Smith playing at a very high level, it’s hard for someone like Arthur to get to the field.”
