Broncos
- Adam Schefter reports that even though heโs listed as questionable, Broncos RB C.J. Anderson will play tonight.
- Earlier in the day, Troy Renck mentioned that even if Anderson were to play tonight, itโs likely he would still lose some carries to Ronnie Hillman based on how Hillman has played in the preseason.
Buccaneers
- Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) said he feels โ100 percentโ, but Jeff Darlington mentions that this doesnโt mean heโll definitely play in Week 2.
- Darlington notes that HC Lovie Smith has been sensitive about hamstring injuries in the past.
Chiefs
- Ian Rapoport reports that the expectation is Jah Reid will once again be the Chiefs starting at right tackle against the Broncos tonight.
- Rapoport adds the Chiefs are allowing Eric Fisherโs ankle injury to heal, and this decision is considered โstrictly injury-related.โ
Patriots
- Mike Reiss of ESPN mentions that itโs hard to imagine starting DT Dominique Easley (hip) playing in Week 2โs game.
- Reiss expects defensive tackles Alan Brach, Sealver Siliga, and first-round pick Malcom Brown to handle the workload while Easley is out.
Texans
- Aaron Wilson reports that Texans RB Arian Foster (groin) returned to practice on limited basis Thursday.
- Sources tell Wilson that Foster isnโt expected to play this week, and was instead โjust getting his feet wet.โ
- LT Duane Brown missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday, and sources tell Wilson that heโs โextremely unlikelyโ to play this week.
