• According to Adam Caplan, RB Duke Johnson is expected to play in Week 7, as his shoulder injury is believed to be a “stinger.”

Lions

• Panthers worked out CB Chykie Brown on Tuesday, per Aaron Wilson.

Rams

• HC Jeff Fisher said the team “does not plan” on trading TE Jared Cook. (Jim Thomas)
• Fisher also said the Rams received trade interest during their bye week for other players outside of Cook.

Steelers

• Mark Kaboly reports that C Maurkice Pouncey is receiving a second opinion regarding his injured fibula from a specialist in North Carolina.
