Buccaneers

• Despite some speculation that the Bucs could turn back to Mike Glennon as their starter, Josh McCown took the first turn through reps at quarterback on Wednesday. (Greg Auman)

• HC Mike Smith said that although WR Julio Jones didn’t take part in Wednesday’s walk through, he’s still optimistic that he will play this weekend. (Scott Brown)

Giants

• Free agent to-be DE Jason Pierre-Paul said “If I can stay here I would love to be a Giant for life.  Who knows how it is going to fall out?“. (Ralph Vacchiano)

• WR Calvin Johnson and OT LaAdrian Waddle were limited Wednesday, while RB Reggie Bush, and DT Nick Fairley did not practice. (Tim Twentyman)
