Manish Menhta of the New York Daily News reports that HC Rex Ryan and OC Marty Mornhinweg were among the majority of people in the organization, including players, that wanted to keep Michael Vick in place as the teamโs starting quarterback
However, the Jets later announced that Geno Smith will return as their signal caller in Week 13. According to Mehta Ryan placated to his superiors in order to avoid conflict over the remainder of the season.

- Veteran S Charles Woodson expects to continue playing next year, despite being 38 years old.
โNo question,โ Woodson said Wednesday, via Michael Wagaman of ESPN. โI feel great. Why that is, I have no clue. Iโll play this season out and weโll see what happens after that.โ
Ravens
Ravens impending free agent RB Justin Forsett is hoping to re-sign with the Ravens next season after putting together a very solid 2014 season.
โDefinitely, this is a great place, a great organization,โ Forsett told Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. โItโs hard not to want to be here. Definitely, Iโm sure after the season sometime theyโll probably get something done.
โI would love to sign here. Iโve been waiting my whole career to find a home somewhere to not have to move every offseason. So, that would be nice.โ
