NFL Notes: Chiefs, Colts, Giants, Patriots, Ravens

Chiefs

• Chiefs placed NT Dontari Poe on the active/PUP list.

Colts

• Colts placed OLB Robert Mathis on the active/PUP list.

Giants

• According to Dan Graziano, the Giants offensive line consisted of: Ereck Flowers at left tackle, Justin Pugh at left guard, Weston Richburg at center, Geoff Schwartz at right guard and Marshall Newhouse at right tackle
• The Giants had rookie Landon Collins and Cooper Taylor as the starters at safety.
• Graziano doesn’t expect newly signed WR James Jones to supplant Rueben Randle as the team’s starting outside receiver.

Patriots

• According to Mike Reiss, the Patriots have rookie guards Shaq Mason and Tre Jackson working exclusively with starting C Bryan Stork.
• Reiss mentions that CB Malcolm Butler would be the Patriots starter at left cornerback if the season were to begin today.
• Reiss considers Logan Ryan the favorite to win the right cornerback job.

Ravens

• Aaron Wilson reports that Ravens S Matt Elam will undergo an MRI on Sunday, but there is concern that he may have a torn biceps.
