NFL Notes: Colts, Cowboys, Falcons, & Steelers

Colts

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk mentions that if the Colts only manage to win one or none of their next five games, there’s a chance they could move on from HC Chuck Pagano during their bye much like the Dolphins did with Joe Philbin.

Indianapolis will take on the Texans tonight without Andrew Luck, which means they’re starting Matt Hasselbeck, who was in the hospital with a virus following last weekend’s game.

The Colts’ upcoming schedule includes home games against the Patriots and Saints, a road game against Panthers, and another home match up against the Broncos.

  • Jason La Canfora reports that the Colts are unlikely to activate a practice squad quarterback at this time, which means they’re likely going with Matt Hasselback and Josh Johnson.

Cowboys

Cowboys HC Jason Garrett confirmed Joseph Randle will remain the starting running back.

Yeah, we don’t anticipate any changes that way,” Garrett said, via the Dallas Morning News.

Falcons

  • Falcons HC Dan Quinn mentioned that WR Roddy White has rejoined the team after being excused for personal reasons yesterday. (Vaughn McClure)
