Draft

Jaguars

• Adam Caplan points out that the Jaguars decision to claim RB Bernard Pierce off of waivers from the Ravens is a low-risk move given that there’s no guaranteed money left in his contract.

Saints

• According to Alex Marvez, the Saints did not hire former Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland as their director of college scouting, but instead as their assistant GM.

Vikings

• The Vikings announced Thursday that their meeting with free agent S Taylor Mays has concluded without an agreement.
