Joe Burrow
LSU QB Joe Burrow said he would be willing to play for any team that selects him in the 2020 NFL Draft.
โWhoever wants to pay me money to play the game of football, Iโll play for โem, it doesnโt matter to me,โ Burrow told Bloomberg News, via Pro Football Talk.
Burrow’s father, Jimmy, said in an interview last week with Montreal’s TSN 690 radio that his son would be “happy” to be the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft and play for the Bengals.
“He’s excited to even be in that conversation and if the Bengals do draft him, he’s going to be happy,” Jimmy Burrow said.
“He’ll look at it as a challenge,” Jimmy Burrow said of playing for the Bengals. “But he’ll be confident that eventually they can win a lot of games there in Cincinnati.”
Draft

The scouts came up with:
- Florida TE Harrison Bryant
- Michigan LB Josh Uche
- Liberty WR Antonio Gandy-Golden
- North Carolina DE Jason Strowbridge
- Notre Dame CB Troy Pride Jr.
- Temple OL Matt Hennessy
Bengals
Bengals HC Zac Taylor discussed some of the qualities they’re looking for in a quarterback.
“A guy that elevates his teammates, accurate, has the best understanding of the playbook of anyone on the roster and a winner. I want a winner, thatโs it,โ Taylor said, via Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Taylor said LSU QB Joe Burrow is “really impressive” but they’re still evaluating him as a player.
โHe certainly had a great season. Weโre still going through the process of evaluating him and a lot of the other guys that are worthy of those high picks. But to go undefeated, win the national championship, be the leader that he is, that stuff is really impressive,โ Taylor said.
