NFL Notes: Landon Collins, Armonty Bryant, Trent Taylor

Landon Collins

Armonty Bryant

  • Former Raiders DE Armonty Bryant needs a kidney transplant, per ESPN’s Michael Rothstein
  • Bryant was released by the Raiders in May, 2018, with a non-football illness designation due to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, which causes kidney failure.  He’s currently waiting for a donor match program to find a new kidney.  His blood type is O-negative.

Trent Taylor

San Francisco 49ers WR Trent Taylor says he’s recovered from back problems that hampered him throughout the 2018 season.

โ€œI feel like my back is back to normal now,โ€ Taylor said, via NBC Sports’ Jennifer Lee Chan. โ€œI just knew that I needed a little more time than I was able to get throughout the season. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™ve been really looking forward to this offseason. Getting back to building my body up the right way. Iโ€™m feeling great right now. Weโ€™re going to continue working on that and building myself up so I can be ready to have a great season next year.โ€
