NFL Notes: Landon Collins, Armonty Bryant, Trent Taylor

Landon Collins

Armonty Bryant

  • Former Raiders DE Armonty Bryant needs a kidney transplant, per ESPN’s Michael Rothstein
  • Bryant was released by the Raiders in May, 2018, with a non-football illness designation due to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, which causes kidney failure.  He’s currently waiting for a donor match program to find a new kidney.  His blood type is O-negative.

Trent Taylor

San Francisco 49ers WR Trent Taylor says he’s recovered from back problems that hampered him throughout the 2018 season.

“I feel like my back is back to normal now,” Taylor said, via NBC Sports’ Jennifer Lee Chan. “I just knew that I needed a little more time than I was able to get throughout the season. That’s why I’ve been really looking forward to this offseason. Getting back to building my body up the right way. I’m feeling great right now. We’re going to continue working on that and building myself up so I can be ready to have a great season next year.”
