LeSean McCoy
LaDainian Tomlinson spoke to LeSean McCoy a few weeks ago and he had said that he wasnโt sure if he was going to be back with the Eagles next year.
โI had a chance to talk to LeSean a few week ago and he expressed to me that he didnโt think he was going back to Philly next season,โ Tomlinson said. โHe just didnโt think that Philly was committed to him.โ
Tomlinson added that McCoy felt as though HC Chip Kelly phased him out of their offense last year.
โHe actually thought that Chip kind of phased him out of the offense at times last year,โ Tomlinson said of McCoy.
Tomlinson believes Kelly doesnโt like players that have a โstrong personalityโ and wants โtotal controlโ of his team.
โI honestly think Chip doesnโt like the strong personality of certain guys in the locker room,โ Tomlinson said. โIf you think about what he has done over the time in Philly, he wants total control.โ
Ian Rapoport reports that McCoy had told friends that he and Kelly didnโt always see eye-to-eye with practice methods and scheduling.
