Michael Sam

Former Rams DE Michael Sam explained that he’s currently focused on his media training and taking a break from his NFL career.

“It’s been a roller coaster,” Sam said of the past few months, via ABC 17. “I’ve been trying to figure out what’s next in my life. I’ve just come to a conclusion, as I take this break from football, I want to focus on my media training.

“[I’m] just refocused on me and what my needs are,” Sam added when asked why he is confident he can make an NFL team next season.

Robert Griffin III

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Redskins intend to keep Robert Griffin III on their roster all season.
  • According to Rapoport, Griffin has been helpful for Cousins this season.
  • Rapoport adds that RGIII has been staying after practice an hour or so throwing with a ball boy.

Chris Cooley

  • Former NFL TE Chris Cooley tells Jason La Canfora that he “most definitely still wants to play again” in the NFL.
  • Cooley added that he’s working on a daily basis.
