Potential Roster Cuts

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe takes a look at a number of veteran players could be roster cuts in the next few weeks.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald, Jets WR Percy Harvin, Bears WR Brandon Marshall, Steelers S Troy Polamalu, Buccaneers G Logan Mankins and Dolphins WR Mike Wallace are among the players who could be on the chopping block, according to Volin.

• Joel Corry of the National Football Post also has an article up looking at five players who could be asked to accept paycuts this offseason.
• Corry has Rams QB Sam Bradford, Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald, Chiefs OLB Tamba Hali, Jets WR Percy Harvin and Vikings RB Adrian Peterson listed as the top-five players to watch.

Buccaneers

• Alex Marvez reports that Paul Spicer is interviewing for the Buccaneers’ defensive line coaching position.

Dolphins

• Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins still haven’t given impending free agent DL Jared Odrick any idea if they want him back.

Patriots

• Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston would be surprised if either S Devin McCourty or K Stephen Gostkowski are playing elsewhere next season.
