Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes that despite Kyle Orton‘s productive season he is likely to be traded this offseason. Klis mentions that the Broncos are looking for second-round pick in return for Orton.
Pro Football Talk addresses this rumor by mentioning that the asking price is pretty high considering that Orton is due to $8.4 million next season. Another thing to consider is that Orton would likely provide more value to the Broncos than any other team because of his experience and the possibility that CBA negotiations could cut into offseason training programs.
As of right now the Broncos are without a head coach so that will most likely be addressed before the team decides to trade Orton but it will be interesting to see if they go all in on Tim Tebow or not.
