Vito Stellino of the Florida Times Union was to get some comments fromย Jacksonville Jaguars director of player personnel Terry McDonough who indicated that the team has plans to actively address their roster via the free agent market. More specifically, the Jaguars are said to be looking for a number of positions but the one that stood out was the mention of an “explosive receiver.”
The good news for the Jaguars is that the this years group of Free Agent Wide Receiver has some very appealing targets like: Sidney Rice, Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Steve Smith (NYG). While the rules for free agency are still up in the air, these are some solid options for any team that’s in need of a solid wide receiver.
Jacksonville’s offense needs some more play makers than just Maurice Jones-Drew so bringing in player that can help them spread the field should allow David Garrard to build on the teams 2010 momentum.
