Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that the Washington Redskins plan to continue their pursuit of free agent players and plan on spending a good amount of money once free agency is finally open.
Jones specifically mentions that the Redskins may look to upgrade the inside linebacker position and lists Takeo Spikes, Akin Ayodele and Kevin Burnett as possible options.
The Redskins will have to know whether or not Rocky Macintosh will be a restricted free agent because if the leagues ends up using the 2010 rules, Macintosh would be a cost efficient option for them.
