Packers HC Matt LaFleur announced Sunday that K Mason Crosby has been activated from the non-football injury list and is cleared to practice.
Crosby has been sidelined with a calf injury for the past few weeks, but is now ready to compete for the kicking job with Sam Ficken.
Crosby, 34, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2007. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $16.1 million contract and set to make a base salary of $3.2 million for the 2019 season.
Crosby will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2018, Crosby appeared in all 16 games and converted 30 of 37 attempts (81.1 percent) to go along with 34 of 36 extra point tries (94.4 percent).
