The Green Bay Packers have claimed DB Tremon Smith off of waivers from the Chiefs on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.
Smith, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million contract with Kansas City but was placed on waivers last week.
In 2018, Smith was active for 14 games, but did not record a statistic.
During his college career at Central Arkansas, Smith recorded 113 tackles, two forced fumbles, a recovery, one sack, 53 pass defenses and 15 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 48 games.
