Packers Activate OLB Nick Perry From PUP List

Update:

Rob Demovsky reports that the Packers have, in fact, activated OLB Nick Perry (ankle) from the physically unable to perform list.

Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers are expected to activate veteran OLB Nick Perry from the PUP list on Sunday.

Perry has missed the past few weeks while rehabbing his ankle after undergoing offseason surgery.

Perry, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract before testing the open market for the first time and eventually returning to Green Bay on a five-year, $60 million contract that included an $18.5 million signing bonus.

Perry stands to make base salaries of $1.9 million and $5.2 million over the next two years.

In 2017, Perry appeared in 12 games for the Packers and recorded 38 tackles, seven sacks, a forced fumble, and a recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 edge defender out of 115 qualifying players.
