According to Michael Cohen, the Packers have expressed interest in re-signing ILB Jake Ryan along with some other teams.
Cohen mentions that Ryan is rehabbing a torn ACL suffered during training camp and has been recovering nicely while starting to run over a month ago.
Ryan, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He finished out the final year of his four-year, $2,736,676 contract and made a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.
However, Ryan was placed on injured reserve last August with a torn ACL. He’s now an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Ryan appeared in 15 games for the Packers and recorded 81 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a recovery.
