The Green Bay Packers officially have placed K Mason Crosby, DT Treyvon Hester and TE Jace Sternberger on the COVID-19 list on Thursday.
Adam Schefter reports that the Packers have claimed TE/FB John Lovett off of waivers from the Chiefs on Thursday.
Crosby, 35, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2007. He’s finished his four-year, $16.1 million contract last season and was set to be an unrestricted free agent when he agreed to a new three-year extension worth $12.9 million with Green Bay.
Crosby is entering his 14th year with the Green Bay Packers.
In 2019, Crosby appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and converted 22 of 24 field-goal attempts (91.7 percent), 40 of 41 extra-point attempts (97.6 percent) and 49 touchbacks.
Lovett, 24, wound up coming undrafted out of Princeton back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Chiefs.
Kansas City officially waived Lovett on Wednesday.
