According to Matt Schneidman, the Packers are promoting OT Yosh Nijman to the active roster.
Green Bay has an open roster spot after placing OL Cole Madison on injured reserve.
Nijman, 23, was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech following the 2019 NFL draft. He was waived by Green Bay coming out of the preseason but re-signed to the practice squad.
During his four-year college career, Nijman started 32 games for Virginia Tech at both offensive tackle spots, including 10 games at right tackle as a senior.
Nijman has yet to appear in an NFL game.
