The Green Bay Packers officially re-signed CB Herb Waters to a new contract on Thursday a day after they declined to tender him an exclusive rights deal.
Waters, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.
Last year, Water suffered a season-ending shoulder injury that led to him being placed on injured reserve.
During his college career at Miami, Waters played receiver and caught 99 passes for 1,534 yards receiving and nine touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
