Packers Re-Sign OLB Tim Williams To PS, Release G Ben Braden

The Green Bay Packers announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed OLB Tim Williams to their practice squad and released G Ben Braden from the unit.

Williams, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.39 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $690,000 and $790,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

The Ravens made the decision to move on from Williams last month and he was later claimed by the Packers. Green Bay waived him earlier in the week. 

In 2019, Williams has appeared in four games for the Ravens and recorded two tackles and no sacks.
