Packers Sign LS Taybor Pepper To Futures Deal

Rob Demovsky reports that the Packers have signed LS Taybor Pepper to a future/reserve contract on Friday.

Pepper becomes the 9th player to sign a futures deal with Green Bay. The full list includes:

4. WR Antwan Goodley
5. LB Derrick Mathews
6. G Lucas Patrick
7. S Jermaine Whitehead
8. TE Beau Sandland
9. LS Taybor Pepper

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Demovsky notes that Packers LS Brett Goode will be a free agent and Green Bay previously worked out Pepper last year.

Pepper, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Michigan State. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
