Packers Tender Contracts To Five ERFAs

Rob Demovsky reports that the Packers have given exclusive rights free agent WR Jake Kumerow the minimum salary tender for the 2020 season.

This ensures that Kumerow will be back in Green Bay next season.

Kumerow, 28, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Whitewater back in 2015. He was on and off the team’s practice squad during his rookie season but returned to the Bengals on a future/reserve contract last January.

Kumerow eventually joined the Packers and returned to Green Bay on a futures contract in 2018. He returned to Green Bay last year on an exclusive rights deal.

Kumerow will be a restricted free agent in 2020.

In 2019, Kumerow caught 12 passes for 219 yards receiving and one touchdown.
