Ryan Wood reports that the Packers are placing DT Brian Price on waivers Saturday to free up a roster that they’ll likely use on a running back or cornerback.
Price, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio back in May. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Packers later signed him to their practice squad before calling him up a few weeks ago.
In 2016, Price has been active for one game but hasn’t recorded a statistic.
