Packers Working Out Four Players

According to Aaron Wilson, the Packers are bringing in four free-agents for workouts this week including G Ben Braden.

The full list of players includes: 

1. OT Paul Adams
2. G Ben Braden
3. LB Alvin Jones
4. C Zach Shackelford

Braden, 26, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May of 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.

The Jets brought Braden back on a futures contract in 2018. He was on and off of the Jets’ roster over the next year before eventually signing on to the Packers’ taxi squad. He another stint with the Jets, he was added to the Patriots’ training camp roster before getting cut prior to the start of the 2020 season. 

For his career, Braden has appeared in three games for the Jets.
