According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Packers WR Christian Watson suffered a high-ankle sprain in the team’s Week 4 loss to the Vikings.
Rapoport adds Watson didn’t suffer an ankle fracture despite some concern but he could land on injured reserve anyway.
Watson, 23, is a former second-round pick by the Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft out of North Dakota State. He’s in the third year of a four-year $9,241,031 rookie contract, including a $3,900,750 signing bonus.
In 2024, Watson has appeared in 4 games and recorded five receptions on eight targets for 80 yards (16.0 YPC) and a touchdown.
