Panthers & Cardinals Among Teams Looking To Trade Back

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that there will be “ample opportunities” to move within the top 10 picks this year.

Rapoport is told the Panthers are among the interested teams in trading back a few spots if there was a team looking to move up for a quarterback or cornerback.

Meanwhile, Tom Pelissero reports that the Cardinals are another team in the top 10 that has expressed interest in trading down from No. 8 overall.

Arizona is currently without a second-round pick due to the DeAndre Hopkins trade and could be a potential trade partner for a team looking to get one of the top offensive linemen or even a quarterback, depending on how things go in the early part of round one.

Other teams in the top 10 open to trading down include the Lions at No. 3 overall, Giants at No. 4 and possibly the Jaguars at No. 9.

Reports have said that the Falcons, Broncos and Buccaneers are some teams that could consider a trade up for the right player with Atlanta being the most likely of the group.

We’ll have more regarding potential draft trades as the news is available.
