Panthers Sign Three Draft Picks Including RB Christian McCaffrey

The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday evening that they’ve signed first-round RB Christian McCaffrey to a four-year rookie contract along with OT Taylor Moton (second round) and FB Alex Armah (sixth round).

According to, McCaffrey will receive a four-year contract worth $17,241,304, which includes a signing bonus of $10,679,128. The contract also has a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2020.

McCaffrey, 20, was taken with the No. 8 overall pick by the Panthers after being linked to Carolina for a number of weeks. McCaffrey is the most dynamic player in this year’s draft class and should give the Panthers a versatile weapon to utilize in the coming years.
