The Carolina Panthers officially signed P Swayze Waters to a contract on Thursday.
Waters, 28, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of UAB back in 2009. He spent just a few months in Detroit before he was released at the start of the season.
Water later caught on with the Raiders for a few months before joining the Steelers in February of 2011.
The Toronto Argonauts signed him to a contract in 2012 and he’s remained with the team ever since. However, he sat out the 2015 season due to a hip injury.
