Adam Schefter reports that the Panthers are signing free-agent G John Miller to a one-year, $4 million contract on Wednesday.
This comes hours after being released by the Bengals earlier today. (NFLTR)
It’s worth mentioning that signing Miller to a contract won’t impact the Panthers’ 2021 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.
Miller, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year rookie contract and signed a three-year $16.5 million deal with the Bengals last year.
In 2019, Miller started 13 games for the Bengals at guard and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 52 guard out of 80 qualifying players.
We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
