Patriots Bringing In RB James Starks & TE Clay Harbor For Visits

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Patriots plan to bring in free agent RB James Starks and TE Clay Harbor for visits on Thursday.

  • Weston Hodkiewicz reports that the Packers are still interested in re-signing Starks.

Starks, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He has spent all six years of his career in Green Bay and is once again in position to test the open market.

In 2015, Starks ran for 601 yards on 148 carries (4.1 YPC) to go along with 43 receptions for 392 yards receiving and five total touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 59 running back out of 69 qualifying players.

Harbor, 28, was taken in the fourth-round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Eagles. He lasted three years in Philadelphia before signing on with the Jaguars in 2013. He’s currently an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Harbor appeared in 15 games for the Jaguars and recorded 14 receptions for 149 yards receiving and a touchdown.
