Patriots Interested In Re-Signing OTs Cameron Fleming & LaAdrian Waddle

According to Ian Rapoport, Patriots free agent OTs Cameron Fleming and LaAdrian Waddle are drawing “considerable interest” right now and New England would like to re-sign one of both of them.

The offensive tackle market was limited to begin with but Fleming and Waddle are now two of the best available options and should be able to come away with respectable contracts when all is said and done.

Fleming, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2014. Fleming was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Patriots’ practice squad before being called up a month later.

The Patriots brought Fleming back on a one-year, $1.797 million deal for the 2017 season and he’s now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2017, Fleming appeared in 12 games for the Patriots and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 24 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
