The New England Patriots announced Thursday that they haveย re-signed LS Danny Aikenย and LB Chris White.
- New Englandย also re-signedย QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson toย their practice squad after waiving him on Wednesday.
Aiken, 26, signed a one-year, $725,000 contract with the Patriots back in March, but was among their final roster cuts this past weekend.
He originallyย signed as anย undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills out of Virginia back in 2011, butย didn’t last long as he waived and laterย claimed by the Patriots later that year. He has been a regular contributor on special teams since arriving in New England.
White, 25, was also among the Patriots final roster cuts this past weekend. He’s a formerย sixth-round pick of the Bills. He spent three seasons in Buffalo before he was traded to the Lions in August of last year forย QB Thad Lewis.
Last season, White played in all 16 games, but recorded just a single tackle on defense and nine on special teams.
