According to Albert Breer, the Patriots hosted five free agents for workouts on Tuesday, including P Justin Vogel.
The full list of players includes:
- LS Scott Daly
- P Alex Kinney
- P Tyler Newsome
- LS Colton Taylor
- P Justin Vogel
Vogel, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2017. He was in the second year of his three-year, $1.66 million contract when the Packers waived him in May of 2018.
Vogel was claimed off of waivers by the Browns but cut loose coming out of the 2018 preseason. He signed on with the 49ers in March of last year but was waived a month later.
The Broncos signed Vogel last summer but waived him after three days.
In 2017, Vogel appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and totaled 2,991 yards on 71 attempts (42.12 YPA) to go along with two touchbacks.
