Jason Cole of B/R reports that the Patriots worked out free agent WRย Terrelle Pryorย on Monday.
- However, Cole adds that Pryor signing with the Patriots is not consideredย imminent at this point in time.
- Albert Breer points out that Pryor worked out asย worked out for the Patriots as a receiver.
Pryor managed to make it through roster cuts this past weekend, even though he had missed some time this summer due to injury. The Browns elected to sign him after he was willing to convert to receiver from quarterback.
However, the Browns wound up releasing him last weekย to make room for RB Robert Turbin, who was claimed off of waivers from the Seahawks.
Pryor, 26, was taken by the Oakland Raiders inย theย third round of theย 2011ย supplemental draft. He lasted a little over three years inย Oakland before he was traded to the Seahawks for aย seventh-round pick that ultimately becameย Jonathan Dowling.
Kansas City later signed Pryor to a one-year contract back in January, but his stay was obviously short lived.ย Pryor eventuallyย caught on with the Bengals, only to be waived and later claimed by the Browns.
In 2013, Pryor appeared in 11 games and completed 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
