According to NBC Sports’ Scott Bair, the Oakland Raiders are among several teams interested in DE Markus Golden.
- Yahoo!’s Terez Paylor says the Kansas City Chiefs have also expressed interest in Golden.
- Art Stapleton reports that the Giants are believed to have interest in Golden.
- Jenna Laine adds that the Buccaneers have expressed interest as well.
Per Bair, sources said Golden was weighing his offers last night. The Raiders are likely to address their pass rush in free agency and the draft.
The New York Giants are one of the other teams reportedly interested in Golden.
Golden, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year rookie contract and is now testing the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2018, Golden appeared in 11 games for the Cardinals and recorded 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 99 edge rusher out of 103 qualifying players.
